Riot Games Dispels Vanguard Anti-Cheat Myths

Riot Games has released a statement addressing concerns surrounding Vanguard, the anti-cheat system used in popular titles League of Legends and VALORANT. The company firmly asserted that Vanguard’s implementation has been successful, leading to a significant decrease in in-game cheating.

Concerns regarding Vanguard’s impact on hardware were directly refuted by Riot Games, who stated there is no evidence of the anti-cheat system causing any hardware failures. Additionally, the company clarified the extent of Vanguard’s data collection, explaining that it only captures screenshots of the game client, not the entire computer or multiple monitor displays.
